Lola Melani

Creative Director

Acclaimed celebrity photographer and creative director of The Mothers Ball, Lola Melani, is known for her elegant and intimate portraits, which have been featured in the media worldwide. Lola specializes in maternity, newborn and beauty photography; and her style blends editorial, fashion and fine art photography. The ethereal signature look of her portraiture has attracted a clientele that includes global dignitaries, public figures and celebrities.

Lola speaks frequently about her journey from immigrant to the United States to one of the world’s leading photographers and she espouses that we all have an opportunity to make a positive difference in the world through our work. When not in her studio capturing the beauty of life and family, Lola curates masterclass seminars, where she mentors fellow photographers on how to find their own unique style to take their art form and businesses to the next level.

In 2017, Lola founded The Lola Melani Fund, a charity that empowers women at every stage of motherhood by enhancing a mother’s capacity to advocate for herself, her family and her community.

Kimberly King

Kimberly King is a global social entrepreneur and noted expert in the fields of public-private-partnerships, international development, gender & youth, and sustainable innovation eco-systems. Her passion is working at the intersections of business, strategy and social impact, creating ground-breaking marketing and financial models generating more than $4B dollars in revenue to date.

King’s diverse experience reflects 20+ yrs as a leader in multi-sector joint ventures working with financial services, cooperatives and impact investing; sustainability solutions in business, environment and economic development; civic and community engagement; marketing and media; entrepreneurship education and enterprise incubator and accelerator programs.

Clients/Partners include American Express/AMEX Advisors, Credit Union National Association, NBC, PBS, AT&T, Coca-Cola, AARP, the Cities of Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Chicago, and San Juan, the Govts of Mauritius, Slovakia and United States, the Indian Ocean Commission, World Trade Center Association and the United Nations.

King is CEO of HumanTec Labs. and Cofounder of One Island Institute. She serves as a special projects consultant to the United Nations and Sr. Advisor to the Institute for Sustainable Development and Urban Innovation Exchange.

A lifelong champion for women and girls, Kimberly is Vice President of the International Women’s Think Tank and NGO representative to the UN Commission on Women. She is the Cofounder of WIESD – Women in Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Sustainable Development – based in Sweden and the US, and a Founding Partner of The Mothers Ball, LLC.

Kimberly is an international speaker, media producer and featured co-author in “The Power of Team”. She has worked and traveled to nearly 70 countries and is an honored recipient of the Eleanor Roosevelt Global Humanitarian Award.

Annette BibbyOliver

Co-producer/Fashion and Talent Partnerships Director

Annette BibbyOliver, founder of Los Angeles-based Dreamhouse Marketing and co-producer of The Mothers Ball, has established a reputation in the fashion and entertainment industry over the last ten years for her integration of top fashion, accessories and lifestyle brands with events that generate tremendous social impact. Throughout the entertainment and media industries, Annette is renowned for bridging the gap between marketing and celebrity events to create powerful brand positioning, publicity-worthy campaigns and memorable experiences for the brands she represents. Annette’s ability to foster a concept through product development to product launch has led her to head national marketing campaigns, with the National Breast Cancer Foundation, American Heart Association, PATH
(People Assisting The Homeless) — and her own non-profit, Dreamprom, which she founded seven years ago.

When Annette first joined the industry, event production was a curated concept more than a recognized profession.
She has proudly participated in its evolution, and Annette has emerged to play a key role in production of sponsorship liaison teams. She has built a loyal clientele through her ability to implement a variety of marketing and brand positioning tactics to engage attendees and increase event visibility and revenue.

In addition to producing and curating brand partnerships for stellar events around the globe, Annette is also a sought-after consultant not only to major lifestyle and fashion brands, but also to celebrity brands seeking product development, brand partnerships and new launches to market, as well as marketing events and strategic brand placement and positioning.

Despite fast-tracking her success over the past decade, Annette recalls it wasn’t all glitz and glamour over the years. A rollercoaster of highs and lows and sacrifices led her to become the resilient and astute businesswoman she is today: “I no longer allow curiosity to spur me to take on a project, rather I choose projects with a purpose I am passionate about, and I make those decisions based on the instincts and experiences of a savvy business professional.” Annette’s company, Dreamhouse MBG, is becoming a dominant force within the event production space.
